" I have done several experiments on Mini toy car's RX2 receiver board. Unless it is a submarine toy, I discovered that once the RX2 is submerged at the top of the coil level, the reception stopped abruptly. If it is because of the quarter wave effect, how could the submarines using the same rx2 chip & same voltage can receive signal while under much deeper water ? Are there more than one kind of RX2 board, one for air & one for water medium ?  Thanks in advance.
